The Mediterranean Summit of Innovative Territories, that was dedicated to Smart Cities, was the opportunity for Montpellier Metropolis to start the deployment of NFC * QR smart tags on tramway stops.

This first phase will allow citizens and visitors to easily access tram real-time schedules and availabilities at bike-sharing stations nearby, directly approaching their smartphones to digital signage.

New features and new technologies are planned to be gradually added to this innovative service.

Montpellier Mediterranean Metropolis chose the platform Connecthings to implement this innovative solution on its territory.
