Update to the sdk to be compliant with the general data protection regulation (gdpr)

23 May 2018

The new European General Data Protection Regulation known as GDPR has consequences on our mobile SDK from an analytical standpoint. Indeed, our SDK generates analytics, which includes the following personal data:

  • the phoneId on Android or the identifierForVendor (IDFV) on iOs
  • locations data of the mobile phone user

To be compliant with the GDPR, the SDK must receive an explicit opt-in from the user authorizing it to collect this information.

We publish today a new 3.0.3 version of our SDK, which allows to manage various opt-ins. You can find out more about this by reading our dedicated tutorial.
