STRABOURG EUROMETROPOLE: BOOST ACCESS TO ALL THE CITY MOBILE SERVICES ACROSS THE METROPOLITAN AREA

15 February 2017

Launched in 2012 by Strasbourg Eurometropole, StrasPlus was the first Connected City mobile service in France to propose a hub of innovative, cross-universe, real-time information services (transports, cultural events…).

Strasbourg’s Eurometropole vision is to allow its residents and visitors to access the city information that makes their life easier, whatever their location.
Connecthings has equipped 1,400 points of interest (media libraries, tourist tours, public buildings, bus stops…) with NFC tags and QR codes. In one pull of their smartphone, residents and visitors access to real-time, hyper-contextualized information related to near-by city points of interest.

« Thanks to the ease and usefulness of its access, StrasPlus has become a true local media, largely acclaimed by Strasbourg’s residents and visitors” says Pierre Bergmiller, Head of Digital Communication, Eurométropole de Strasbourg.
