The technology works across app categories – gaming, social, dating, transportation, news, music, shopping, etc. – and allows Connecthings’​ mobile clients to significantly enhance the value provided by their applications.

This position is based in the New York City office and reports to the VP Sales who’s also based in the US. This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of the mobile, location and smart city industry.

The Sales Director US will be responsible for selling the Connecthings location and context-based mobile software solution to mobile application developers and publishers as well as digital marketing agencies and analytics solutions.

PRIMARY TASKS

  • Hunt down sales leads and close deals with major US & Canada digital brands and app publishers
  • Engage with and close deals with top digital marketing agencies
  • Use your existing business network to accelerate Connecthings’ market development
  • Provide intelligence and insight in to our target audience’s needs and challenges
  • Meet and exceed sales objectives in line with our commercial strategy as well as staying true to our company values
  • Contribute to identifying key industry events (Mobile tech, marketing, digital innovation, AdTech, etc.) and be the ambassador for the brand in trade environments

PROFILE

  • You have at least 4 years of proven track record in digital B2B sales, ideally in SaaS and/or mobile, and especially with startups and/or rapidly growing companies
  • You are at ease in a global environment working with colleagues and customers across different time zones
  • You are looking to make a major career jump by joining a young and ambitious company with high growth potential.
  • You are autonomous and a self-starter; you can identify, qualify the prospects and their needs, prepare and manage the presentations and meeting, answer prospect enquiries, write proposals and close deals.
  • Internally, you invigorate and work well with the project teams, build compelling customer presentations, provide key reporting to the Executive team on sales progress, on our target audience needs and about key industry event opportunities.
  • Ideally you have experience in managing a small team.
  • Your personality will be decisive: you build relationships easily, you are laser focused on customer feedback, you are naturally dynamic, tenacious and obsessed by results.
  • Qualified to degree level, MBA would be a plus.
  • Working knowledge of French, as well as Spanish, would be a distinct advantage
