ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Sales Development team plays a critical role in growing the business at Connecthings. We are looking for enthusiastic, driven, top performers to join and eventually lead a fast-paced, high performing team of Sales Development Representatives. As an SDR, you will often be the first point of contact with potential Connecthings customers and will set the tone for client experience. As an effective SDR, your main priority will be outbound prospecting in the Americas to generate new leads, effectively follow up with prospects, and product sales qualified leads for the sales team.

 

WHAT WE NEED YOUR HELP WITH

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and our Partnerships team to create an outbound prospecting strategy and to help fill and maintain a healthy pipeline of leads
  • Create a great first impression to our prospects by providing them with a meaningful experience and overview of our value proposition
  • Work closely with a team of Sales Directors to share best practices and continuously learn and develop
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative, personalized & compelling follow-ups
  • Organize and attend local events to drive awareness of the Connecthings brand and engage directly with prospects
  • Meet or exceed assigned quota of a minimum of 40 calls / 30 emails per day
  • Meet and exceed individual monthly KPIs
  • Learn our technology and effectively communicate our value proposition with a technical audience. Work to understand their goals and challenges to better understand how we can help
  • Maintaining all contacts/opportunities and recording all progress in our CRM

 

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • 6 months – 2 years of experience in lead generation, sales, or account management.
  • Exemplary presentation and communication ability (both verbal and written) across all levels of an organization
  • A passion for learning and technology, as well as our mission to disrupt the geolocation industry
  • Proficient knowledge of Sales Tools. LinkedIn Navigator, Datanyze, PersistIQ, ZenProspect, Yesware
  • High attention to detail, with a process and solution-oriented mindset
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the startup landscape
  • Open to feedback and constantly looking for ways to improve
  • Wanting to be a part of something bigger than themselves

 

THESE WOULD ALSO BE NICE

  • Experience working with ZOHO, Salesforce, Sugar CRM preferred
  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • Worked with a Global Organization
