MISSIONS

You will be responsible for:

  • Raising awareness of the Connecthings brand and solutions in the smart city and mobile marketing ecosystems in the UK through networking and attendance to trade and to expert events
  • Selling Connecthings location and context-based user engagement solutions to mobile applications in the smart city, mobility and transport space

-Network & raise the Connecthings profile in UK:

  • Engage with cityscape players in London and across the UK (OOH, transport operators, local authorities, smart mobility applications, etc.) through networking, events, prospection meetings, etc. to raise awareness of Connecthings and our solutions for mobile apps
  • Identify & represent Connecthings at key industry events (Smart City, Urban Tech, Apps, Mobile Marketing, digital innovation, etc.)

-Grown sales:

  • Close deals with mid and top-tier mobile applications in the smart city, mobility, and transport space
  • Work on the entire sales cycle by developing the action plan with the support of the UK Country Manager and of the EMEA Sales Director
  • Identify the prospects and their needs, prepare the presentation and meeting, contact the decision makers to present our innovative solution, organize meetings
  • Internally, mobilize project teams, build customer presentations, report on pipeline and sales progress, on our target audience needs and about key industry event opportunity
  • Monitor competition in the UK market

-Contribute actively to global sales:

  • Share best practices and global leads with sales colleagues in France, US and other markets
  • Help marketing enrich collaterals, case studies library, etc.
  • Help animate website and content on social networks on the UK market

-Line of reporting:

  • You will report to the UK Country Manager and the EMEA Commercial Director

Position based in London, occasional traveling.

 

PROFILE

  • Experience in sales roles both on short and long selling cycles
  • Experience working in or selling to mobile application ecosystem (development, analytics, mobile marketing, etc.)
  • Ideally, experience selling SaaS
  • As a plus but not necessary, experience selling to cities / public transport or more broadly utilities companies, or working for one
  • Proven capacity to operate with high levels of autonomy and self-motivation
  • Track record of strong sales growth
  • Readiness to travel in UK on very frequent basis and sometime internationally

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master/MBA a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Fluent English speaker and fluent in French
