Smart City Expo Digital Development 2016, Santiago de Chile: Connecthings shares its vision on how digital innovation is fueling the Smart Cities
The Expo Internacional de Desarrollo Digital 2016 (EIDD 2016) is the largest Chilean event gathering State institutions, municipalities, technology & communication companies and citizens. EIDD fosters collaboration of all these stakeholders in the processes of design, promotion and usage of relevant technical & digital solutions – aiming to greatly improve citizens’ quality of life.
Connecthings was invited to share its vision about digital innovation as a key driver for Smart Cities development – alongside with Patricio Gutiérrez coordinator of Smart Cities’s plan for the regional government of Santiago), Nemecio Arancibia director of the municipal division SUBERE (undersecretary of regional development) and Juan Pablo Lefian of SUBTEL (undersecretary of Chile’s telecommunications).
